In fact, Paul asserted his desire to die as seen in his letter to the Philippians. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain (Philippians 1:21 KJV). Right now, that dear person could be lying in bed feeling sick and crying because their organs are failing. Or maybe they rely on machines to stay alive. You have prayed, and the doctors have done their best to avert the worsening situation. Yet, nothing seems to change for good.
