Step 2

Present your life partner before the Lord in prayers( Genesis 24:12-14; Then he prayed…): Prayer is indeed the best way to communicate our problems to God. We must present every single step to the Lord because He knows all things.

Step 3

Choose a life partner who is mature and not lazy- A life partner should be mature emotionally, spiritually and financially.

Step 4

Ask God to show you a sign ( Genesis 24:12-14): God has numerous ways of showing us the right path to go; it may be in form of dreams , revelation or hearing directly from him.

Step 5

Ask help from spiritual authorities ( your pastors and leaders): Spiritual authorities are people God has placed in charge of our lives. Whenever you want to make a long lasting decision, we must talk to God first and then our spiritual authorities. They are in the right position to help you.

Step 6

Godly parental supports is also needed because most times our parents tend to make the best choices for us. For example in the case of Isaac and Rebekah, Abraham the father of Isaac played a major role in their union.
