Father,

I thank You for my sister and the beautiful bond that is between us.
I am grateful for the gift of my family because Your Word says that you place the solitary in families.

I am thankful for all the moments we’ve shared as siblings and all the hurdles we’ve crossed together. Thank You for her growth throughout the years. I can’t appreciate You enough.

As she goes into surgery, I pray that You fill every person in the operating room with Your boundless wisdom. O great Physician, direct the surgeon’s hands. Let her feel Your presence with her comforting her as she falls asleep.

When she comes out of surgery, Lord, please surround her with a blanket of ease so that her pain will be eased.

Guide her through her recovery process and give her the strength to push through this time. Teach her to walk with your timing and intent so that she can fully understand Your will and Your purpose for her life.
