I love finding ways to feel God in my day, whether I’m going to work or cooking dinner. I make sure I’m connected to Him by listening to Bible stories, sermons, praying, and singing praise songs. All the apps I test are introduced into my everyday life so that I can feel their usability on a daily basis.
Since Satan fell from heaven in rebellion along with his followers, they have continuously waged war against the children of God. The Bible in Ephesians 6:12 tells us that we do not wrestle against mortals, but forces of evil and spiritual wickedness in high places.
As scary as this may sound, God’s Word also lets Christians understand that they have been given power and authority over these evil forces.
In the same breath in Ephesians 6, the Bible entreats believers to put on the armor of God and pray for strength and protection on the day of battle.

Protection Prayer Against Evil
Dear God,
You are our refuge and fortress, our God whom we trust. On the cross of Calvary, You defeated the enemy once and for all and gave Your children bought by Your blood, the authority over evil and powers for darkness. You have kept us from our moments of inception till today. For all these, we are deeply grateful to You Father.
We ask that You continue to preserve us Lord from the evils that roam this earth. Shield us from the arrow that flies by day and the pestilence that stalks in the darkness. Protect us from accidents, unfriendly friends, and deceit. Let every plan of the enemy to bring us down be rendered useless.
Help us to put on Your whole armor so that we can stand firm against Satan and his attacks and have continuous victory. Help us to constantly be reminded of who we are and whose we are so that we will never be afraid but walk in the boldness that You have given us. Keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil.

Almighty God,
We thank You for the weapons You have equipped Your children with to stand against the attacks of the enemy. We admit that sometimes we get weary of the battle and it’s hard to keep on fighting.

Help me not to focus on my battles so much that I lose sight of my blessings and Your hand in my life.

Good Father,
I feel so lost but I trust in Your ability to guide me through these rough patches in my life. I’ve come to understand that Your good plans for me go beyond all that I can imagine and are greater than my circumstances or the battles I’m facing. Direct my mind Lord, so that I may run this race with precision. Grant me the wisdom I need to come out victorious.

Father,
Thank You for the freedom from bondage to sin that You purchased with Your blood for Your children. Your Word tells me that Your grace has appeared, bringing salvation for all people and training us to renounce ungodliness. By this same grace, Lord, please enable me to say no to sin.
Help me to understand that I am no longer a slave to my whims and have the grace to reject sin. In the face of temptation, may I find the willpower to choose You. Help me to set aside every weight and sin that easily besets me so that I might be an effective witness of Your righteousness.

Lord God,
Everything seems so bleak and it’s hard for me to see light at the end of the tunnel. I can’t seem to understand what is going on in my life but I cling to Your love for me and Your promise to deliver me from all my fears.
Today I ask for the gift of hope in this moment of need. Set me free from the darkness that clouds my mind. Give me the peace that passes all human understanding so that I may be still in every storm. Supply strength in my weakness and comfort in my sorrow. Most importantly, I pray that You help me to be mindful of my blessings so that Your praise will not cease from my lips.

Mighty God,
The news is constantly filled with tales of evil, destruction, and chaos. I can’t help but worry for those dear to my heart and people everywhere. As much as I love them, there’s nothing I can do to keep them safe except to commit them to You who loves them more than I do.
So I make this supernatural protection prayer on behalf of my family and loved ones on this day. As they are scattered in different locations, please place angels around them and their dwelling places to guard them against danger. Keep them safe from negative influence and questionable situations. If they do find themselves in danger by whatever means, Father, protect them. Above all, please help us all to remember that whatever happens, You are always in control and You are causing things to work for our good.

Precious Lord,
We thank You because You have good plans to prosper us. But sometimes, difficult times make us lose sight of all Your promises. Our attachment to the world holds us back in this battle and our enemy the devil will not leave us alone. But Your Word tells me to put on the shield of faith against his attacks. So I ask, Lord, that You strengthen my faith.
By Your Spirit, take away doubt from my heart. Help me to lay my cares and worries at Your feet. Remind me daily to stay encouraged even when the troubles of life threaten to drown me. Guard my heart against fear and strengthen me each day to fight this war. When my thoughts don’t align with Your promises, may I find the resilience to believe Your Word above my emotions.
May I always remember to find comfort in Your Spirit and Your truth.

As Jesus explains in John 16:33, we are not made aware of the tribulations we would face so we would live in fear. Rather, we have peace and courage to face them because He has overcome the world on our behalf.
