5 Powerful Prayers for Healing and Strength

Gracious God, I beg you to fill our hearts with peace, let peace return, O Lord, bless our hearts with love, our minds with rest, our bonds with unity and trust. We ask that you blow through my family with grace and love and blow away the storms of life as we sing in the faith of your promises.

Grant us peace of mind and calm our troubled hearts. Give us the strength and clarity of mind to find the purpose and walk on the path you’ve laid out for us. Amen.

Dear God, you are my rock, and I run to you today for help, believing that you will lift my heavy arms, that you will fuel me for the tasks you’ve given me, and that your joy will completely consume the weakness of my body and make me strong again. I don’t want to stay grounded, crippled by limitations and failed attempts. I’m tired of feeble efforts. I ask that you give me strength when I am weak, love when I feel forsaken, courage when I am afraid, wisdom when I feel foolish, and hope when I feel rejected. Amen.

Almighty God, we entrust all who are dear to us to thy never-failing care and love, for this life and the life to come, knowing that you are doing for them better things than we can desire or pray for. Help comfort and relieve me from this sickness, that my weakness may turn to strength and confidence in your loving care.

Holy Spirit, drive away from us all forms of sickness and diseases. Restore strength to my body and joy to my spirit, so that in my renewed health will I serve you now, and forever. Amen.

Father Lord, we know there is a pain in this fallen world. You told us there would be. And we know the enemy of our souls wants to torment us. Remind us of your truths, Lord. Let us reflect on them. And wrap ourselves up in them when we are in pain, or we feel alone. You said in Numbers 23:19, that you are not a man that you should lie. If you said something, you will do it, if you spoke it, you will make it good. Thank you for always answering us when we call. And thank you that you said in Romans 8:27 when we don’t know what to pray that the Holy Spirit will pray for us. Thank you, God, that no matter what we go through, you will always be there. We pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

O God, I thank you for a little insight into the boundless love of God. Jesus, you are the author and originator of love. We only know love because you are love and you loved us first. You love us specifically and sacrificially. You love us in our sin and rebellion against you. You love us despite the pain we inflict on others. It is that love, that selflessness that allows us to love others. We ask that you firm our hearts with love and make us better lovers of one another, we pray Lord.

Dear Lord, Your Word says that when we wait on You, You will renew our strength (Isaiah 40:31). Although my strength is depleted, I am choosing to rest and spend time in Your presence, recharging my battery.

I refuse to run myself ragged, listening to the voice of the enemy that I should just try harder or work longer. I trust in Your infinite capacity of strength. It will never run out. Thank You for working in my weakness and pouring Your strength into me.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

God, please send me Angels to surround me and help me through this stressful time. With Your help, I can remain calm and centered inside even though my circumstances are challenging.

Angels, please cut any cords I have to lower energy, especially that of fear, drama, and chaos. Help me raise my vibration and disconnect from this stress for my highest good.

I affirm that this is but a temporary situation and with Your help, my reality will once again be one of peace and happiness.

Thank You, God, and my Angels for your assistance.

Lord, I thank You for this word from You that has spoken so directly into my life today. It’s true that I feel very alone and trapped in the situation I’m facing right now. I don’t know what to do, what step to take, what to say, or where to turn.

I’ve tried to give the problem to You, but in some way, I’ve continued to carry part of the load by myself, and it is starting to break me. Right now – at this very moment – I am throwing the full weight of my burden and care on Your huge shoulders!
I thank You for taking this burden from me and for filling with me the strength I need to press through this time in my life!

I pray this in Jesus’ name!

God, my Fortress, what a joy it is to have a friend in Jesus. Even when I am overcome by feelings of abandonment, You are there with me. I know that I am never truly alone.

Fill me with Your love and direct me in the way I am to love others. Change my priorities away from needing approval from other people to instead having comfort in knowing that I am accepted by You.

Thank You, Father. Amen.

O God, my Strength, You are faithful. You abound in steadfast love to me. And I know that Your love endures forever.

Help me to trust You. Help me to rely on You as my source of strength. Lord, it is so easy for me to falter in my faith and let other things weaken my dependence on You.

Enable me to resist those thoughts and know that You are the one who gives me true strength.
