Thank you for my dear friend who is a year older today. You’ve kept them from the day of their birth up till this moment and I’m so very grateful. I pray that as they grow in age, they will also grow in wisdom and strength. Bless them, protect them, and fill their lives with unending joy. And whatever may come their way this new year, may they rest in the assurance that You are right there to carry them through it all.

Father,

I bring my dear daughter before You. She adds a year today and I can’t help but feel so grateful for all the years we’ve spent together. While she was being formed, You knew her and fleshed out a great plan for her life. I ask today that You complete this great work You have started in her life. Lead her by the hand Lord, into all You have prepared for her. Keep her safe from evil and every wrong idea or influence. Bless her and make her a shining light before all men so that all the glory returns to You.

Dear Lord,

My son celebrates his birthday today and I just want to thank You for his life. It seems like just a little while ago when he was pushed into this world and I just feel so proud of the individual that he is becoming. I lift him before You today as his parent and I ask that You bless him immensely. May he grow into the godly leader You have called him to be. Settle every controversy in his life and perfect all that concerns him. May he touch every life that he encounters for good. Fill him with peace, love, and good health of mind and body all the days of his life.

Dear God,

I thank You for my husband who you have blessed my life with. As the head of the home, I pray that You give him the wisdom and strength he needs to love and take care of his family. May he look more and more like you with each passing day, modeling Your love. In his moments of weakness and tiredness, comfort him. Give him the patience and forbearance to get through whatever storm comes his way. Bless the works of his hands and make him outstanding at everything he does. Give me also, the grace to be a great spouse to him so that together we may build the godly family You have ordained us to have.

Lord Jesus,

Thank you for my wife who You have so graciously placed in my life to be a helpmeet to me. She has been such a blessing to me and for this, I am eternally grateful. I know that every good and perfect gift comes from You and so I pray that You fill her life with them. When the circumstances of life try to steal her joy, let Your everlasting joy be her strength. Help her to always find rest in Your love for her. Give her the wisdom and grace to be a great spouse and mother to our children. Strengthen her relationship with You so that Your love may shine vividly through her.

Dearest Father,

Today’s my mom’s birthday. You gave me to her and from my birth till now, she has been a great source of support and strength and I couldn’t be more thankful. I ask that You bless her for all her sacrifices and efforts she has put into raising me. Grant her her heart’s desires this year, and satisfy the longings of her heart. Keep her healthy and strong for years to come so that we may make many more memories together. Help me become a better child to her and heal our relationship wherever it may be broken so that we can grow even closer this year.

Lord,

I’m grateful for my earthly father who you have used to bring me up in this world. On this day I pray that You heap blessings on him and protect him through his days. Draw him closer to You so that he may live out your example of fatherhood here on earth. Keep him safe from the evil one and his wiles and strengthen him in his times of difficulty. May he learn to lean on you all through his days.

Lord God,

Today marks the beginning of another year on earth and I am grateful for all the blessings and miracles You have adorned my life with. I ask that You help me grow closer to You in this new year so that I may bask in Your love and feel secure in Your good plans for me. Increase my faith in You and Your ability to see me through everything I could ever face. Grant me peace and bless me, Lord, so that I may be a blessing to others. Open up doors of opportunities and help me become a better person to everyone around me. Guide me into fulfilling Your purpose for me on this earth.

May God bless you and fill your life with good things. May He satisfy you with long life, and keep your body healthy. May He bless your going out and coming in and cause your days to favor you. And I pray that you become increasingly aware of, and walk in the absolute confidence that all things work together for your good.
