I love finding ways to feel God in my day, whether I’m going to work or cooking dinner. I make sure I’m connected to Him by listening to Bible stories, sermons, praying, and singing praise songs. All the apps I test are introduced into my everyday life so that I can feel their usability on a daily basis.
For many people, Thursdays are exciting. This is majorly because of the expectations building up for the weekend close ahead. However, with each day comes challenges and a lot of stress.
It’s never easy to try to get everything on your to-do list done, and balance work, school, and family while fitting in breaks in your daily routines. Thursdays are no exception.
However, finding a quiet place or time to communicate with God before you start a day can make a whole lot of difference. Beginning it with prayer is how you can shape it and receive the grace you need to get the most out of every morning you wake up to.

Thursday Morning Prayer
Father,
I thank You for this beautiful morning in which You have breathed life into my nostrils once again. I praise You for the many blessings You have so generously bestowed upon me.
This Thursday morning, I commit my day to you. Enable me to understand that there is nothing that will happen today that You can’t help me get through. Help me to be sensitive to the leading of Your spirit and walk in obedience to it. Strengthen me to overcome procrastination and laziness and crush all my goals for today.
Give me the grace to be patient and kind to everyone I encounter, and the wisdom to excel at my place of work.
Help me to be a good ambassador of Your kingdom in everything I do today. Bless this Thursday and send Your angels ahead of me to prepare the way.

Thankful Thursday Prayer
My Father,
I come before You this Thursday morning in gratitude for all that you have done.
Thank You for your faithfulness and loving-kindness. You gave me Jesus who died for my sins, bringing eternal life. You have also graciously placed me in a family and blessed me with loving friends who look out for me. You have provided my needs and given me reasons to rejoice each day.
Thank You, Lord, for keeping me safe from the evil one.
Thank You for the angels You have put in place to guide me. Thank You for sunshine, rain, and all of nature’s wonders.
Thank You for the Holy Spirit who comforts, teaches, and leads me.
Above all, thank you for the peace and joy I have in You despite the chaos of the world around me. You are worthy of every praise I have to give.

Thursday Prayer For Strength And Courage
Holy Lord,
I am grateful because I know that I can come to you with my burdens and You hear my voice and prayer. This morning I ask You for courage, the boldness to face everything that comes my way in faith.
Even when things happen around me that I do not understand, help me to hold fast to my trust in You. Give me the strength to carry on in this journey of faith and be a blessing to others. In all of my difficulties, give me the courage and wisdom to follow Your will.
Speak peace to my troubled heart and give me the grace to go through the day knowing that You are my shepherd and shield. So I do not need to fear anything that comes my way today. Help me to be bold enough to shun evil and stand up for what is right.

Father,
I thank You for my family. Thank you for my spouse and the children you’ve adorned my life with. Thank you for my parents, my siblings, and every member of my extended family.
Lord, I ask that this Thursday You draw us closer to You as a family. Help us to walk in Your ways and fulfill our divine purpose. Strengthen the bond between us and let Your love abide in our hearts.
Provide all our needs and give us Your peace. Wrap us in Your arms and keep us safe. In every difficulty we face, help us to keep our faces and hearts turned to You for help.
May we acknowledge You in all our dealings.

Thursday Prayer For Protection
Lord God,
As I begin this Thursday, I ask for Your protection. You are my refuge, my protector, and my stronghold. You keep me under Your wings like a bird protecting her young.
Wherever I go today, I ask that Your presence goes with me. Keep me from trouble and protect me from the plan of the evil one.
As I step out into my day, surround me with your goodness and mercies. Help me to go in awareness of Your love enveloping me like a blanket so that I will not be afraid. Surround my family and friends with a hedge of protection on every side. Preserve them so that they may go out today and return safely.
Thank You because You hear me, in Jesus’ name, Amen
Thursday Prayer For Intimacy With God
Father and King,
I am thankful for the gift of Christ, whose death tore the veil between You and humanity, giving us access to You. And for Your Spirit which You have put in us, sealing us as Your own.
You have placed eternity in our hearts which only You can fill. This Thursday, I ask that You lead me into deeper levels of intimacy with You.
Fill my heart with the desire to know You more and seek Your Kingdom above all things.
Give me the grace to consistently spend time in Your presence. Reveal Your heart, nature, and will to me so that I may live in alignment with them. Refine me of my impurities so that I can look more like You with each passing day. Help me to also spur others around me to seek you through my lifestyle.
May I seek Your counsel and approval, rather than that of men in all things and at all times.

Thursday Night Prayer
Beloved God,
Thank You for this Thursday. I am grateful for all the blessings I experienced today. Thank You for everything I was able to cross off my to-do list and everything I wasn’t.
No matter how long and stressful today was, I know You were with me, leading and guiding me all the way.
As I am about to go to sleep, bring me comfort and peace so that I may sleep soundly and wake up refreshed in the morning. Fill my sleep with good and pleasant dreams and help me wake up early to start my day with You tomorrow. I will not be anxious or worried about what tomorrow holds because I have You.
Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Final Thoughts
Along with prayer, delving into God’s Word is an amazing way to also start your morning. If you can’t find enough time to study the word in the morning, taking one verse or two to meditate on is always recommended. It is important to prioritize the quality of time spent in God’s presence rather than quantity.
